During your Rock Oyster weekend why not take some time out to explore the beautiful Camel Estuary by stand up paddle board (SUP) – there is nothing more relaxing than cruising along the coastline, being out on the water and spotting the local wildlife.
We’ve teamed up with local company Camel Ski School based in Rock to offer Rock Oyster Festival goers a two-hour SUP experience on the Estuary.
The adventure starts when you are picked up from the festival by one of the Camel Ski Buggies. These fun ‘Polaris’ buggies offer a unique ‘door to shore’ service, providing a comfortable, covered ride for up to 5 people. You’ll be taken down to the Camel Ski School where you will get kitted out, receive a quick land briefing on how to paddle the SUPs and then you’ll get out onto the Estuary to ‘play’ and practise your new skills for an hour! There will be a qualified member of the Camel Ski team on a safety boat out on the water with you at all times should you need any additional guidance or help.
When you have finished your paddle you will be taken back to the Festival on the Camel Ski Buggy. Includes buggy transfer both ways, wetsuit if required, buoyancy aid and one hour SUP session. Allow 2 hours for the entire trip.
This experience is an additional cost to your Rock Oyster ticket and happens offsite. Pre-booking essential.
