Nick Hemming

 

Nick Hemming is the owner of the multi award winning gastro pub The Heron Inn at Malpas. His passion for fresh local produce is infectious and only purchases produce from a 23-mile radius of the pub. Nick works closely with Truro & Penwith College ensuring young people are given opportunities within hospitality through the apprenticeship program. Winning the ultimate prestigious award “Licensee of the Year Award 2022”with the British Innkeeping Institute, Nick and his wife Amanda were recognised this summer as BII Ambassadors for their continued commitment towards keeping pubs thriving within the community.

The couple have recently launched their new “Flaming Chef Cornish Streetfood” pop-up, where you will get a chance to taste some of the delicious dishes served by The Heron Inn at venues across the South West this year.
