Q. What kind of tickets are available?
There are several types of ticket - Adult (18 years upwards), Teen (12-17yrs) and kids (up to and including 11yrs). We have weekend, Friday and Saturday tickets.

Q. What age do the kids tickets go up to?
Kids are defined as being 0 years up to and including 11 years old - these tickets are free but must be included when you buy your tickets. Teen tickets are from 12 years up to and including 17 years at the time of the festival. We reserve the right to check ages at the gate. Anyone coming in on a kids or teens ticket must be accompanied by an adult.

Q. How many children or teens can an adult bring?
A Maximum of 4 persons under the age of 18 may accompany each paying adult.

Q. What happens if I want to bring a campervan or caravan?
If you are bringing a Campervan or caravan you must supply your registration number when booking your tickets. There is a £15 fee for live in vehicles. The live-in vehicle area is separate to the camping area.

Q. Can I camp with a Friday or Saturday night ticket?
No - you must buy a weekend ticket in order to camp.

Q. What are the booking charges on the ticket page?
Our ticket agency charges an industry standard booking fee - it is shown when you buy your tickets.

Q. How does your ticket system work?
You can buy your tickets through our ticket agency - Eventbrite.  You will receive your tickets as e-tickets which you can print out at home and bring with you. We can also accept tickets on a mobile device.


The Festival

Q. What time can we get in on Friday?
The live in vehicle area opens at 2pm and the festival site and camping areas open at 4pm

Q. What happens on Friday night?
Friday - Gates open at 4pm.  There will be bands playing from 6pm to 11.30, kids stuff including kids yoga, story telling, catering stalls, bars, DJs and we hope wall to wall sunshine!

Q. What about Saturday?
The gates open at 10am and music starts at 10.30am. The festival carries on until 2am

Q. How do I find the festival?
There are directions on the Location page of this website. If you use the postcode of the site it will take you close to our site entrance and it will be signposted from there.  The postcode is PL27 7HU.

Q. Can I access the site from the Camel Trail?
Yes there is a gateway from the Camel Trail - this is situated at the following map coordinates: 50.529091, -4.862819

Q. Can I park onsite?
On-site parking at Rock Oyster Festival is complimentary on a first come first served basis. 

Q. What time can we set up to camp?
The camp site will open at 4pm on Friday to allow you to set up.

Q. Can we park next to our camping pitch?
The camping areas are separate from the parking for safety reasons. There will be a short walk from your car to your camping pitch.

Q. What time can live -in vehicles come in from?
The live in vehicle area will be open from 2pm.

Q. Can we bring alcohol into the festival site?
No alcohol is allowed in the festival site or camping areas - there will be searches.

Q. Are fires or barbeques allowed?
No fires or barbeques are permitted in the camping area.  There will be a designated area for camping stoves.

Q. Are dogs allowed?
For daytime visitors well behaved dogs are allowed on site, no dogs will be permitted after 5pm. For campers or live in vehicles absolutely no dogs please.

Q. Is glass allowed on site?
As this is farmland there is a strict no-glass policy.  There will be random checks at the gate - please respect this rule.

Q.What time do we need to be off site on Sunday? 
We ask for you to leave by midday on Sunday
