We are delighted to be hooking up with local purveyors of the world famous Porthilly Oysters - Rock Shellfish at Porthilly Farm.

The Marshall family based just a hop and a skip up the Camel Estuary from the festival site, have been farming shellfish from their base in Rock for over twenty years. Growers, wholesalers and purifiers of mussels, oysters and clams, Tim and his son Luke farm the shellfish while the rest of the family concentrate on the dairy herd.

We visited The Mariners back in January and were enchanted to see them out at sea just in front, their trawler collecting shellfish by hand as we ate. Indulge in a plate of oysters from the ‘500 yards that way’ menu, and you’re in for a serious treat!
