Sharp’s Silent Bistro

Take a seat don some headphones; tune in to the sounds, flavours and aromas of the Sharp’s Silent Bistro, which will be returning for this year’s instalment of Rock Oyster!

Sharp’s house chef will be serving delicious bitesize taster dishes, while Ed Hughes, Sharp’s expert Beer Sommelier, will pair the dishes with their award-winning portfolio of beers.

Tickets are £10 with £1 per ticket being donated to Hospitality Action.

Due to this being an alcohol-led experience, no under 18’s are allowed to take part. Should you have children in your party, please ensure they are left with a responsible adult whilst you are attending the experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to this immersive experience. Simply relax, put on your headphones, and enjoy wonderful food and drink paired in a totally new way.

Unfortunately, due to this being an alcohol-led experience, no under 18’s will be permitted into the Silent Bistro, so please arrange suitable childcare if you plan to attend this experience.

Sharp’s Silent Bistro – How It Works:

  • The Silent Bistro costs £10pp to attend one session (including booking fee) with each session lasting around 40 minutes. The ticket price secures a place at your chosen Silent Bistro session. Please note, tickets are non-refundable.
  • To gain entry to the Silent Bistro, please bring your Silent Bistro e-ticket to show to the welcome host.
  • There will be a limited number of tickets available on a walk-in basis, so we highly recommend booking in advance.
  • On arrival, please make the Sharp’s host aware of any food allergies you might have. Please note that due to the nature of this temporary pop-up event we are unable to cater to specific dietary requirements, however, some vegetarian options may be available.
  • NB each Silent Bistro session will start promptly, so please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before the start time. If you arrive after this time your place cannot be guaranteed.
  • A Challenge 25 policy will be in operation for entry on the day. Please ensure you have your ID with you. If you are deemed over-intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs, you may be refused entry or asked to leave during the session. For the avoidance of doubt, the Festival team and their chosen partners, reserve the right to refuse entry and their decision is final.
  • If for any reason, the experience cannot go ahead or it is forced to close due to circumstances beyond our control, Sharp’s Brewery accepts no liability for the cancellation.
  • In line with the Disability Discrimination Act, we will endeavour to be inclusive in this experience. However, please email us in advance at info@rockoysterfestival.co.uk with any specific needs when making the booking.
  • Photography and videography may be taken at the Silent Bistro and by making a booking to attend a session, you are agreeing to have your photo taken. However, should you not wish for your photo to be taken, please ensure the Silent Bistro Host for your experience is made aware.
  • Your contact details will only be used by the Rock Oyster organisers and Sharp’s Brewery to contact you about your booking, should the need arise. No details will be shared with any other 3rd parties.
