Being human can be a complicated, beautiful and challenging experience. Being ‘Mindful’ doesn’t mean being perfect or that life will suddenly become all rainbows and butterflies. A mindfulness practice is about becoming familiar with our thoughts and feelings, and to the present moment. Mindfulness can help us navigate the highs and lows that we all face throughout life, both internally and externally. Join Joey Hulin for a light-hearted, no nonsense, practical workshop exploring Mindfulness for real life.  

Joey Hulin is an author, meditation teacher and retreat host based in Cornwall. She offers a down-to-earth, warm and playful approach to mindful living and spirituality. She is founder of wellness company Horizon Inspired offering retreats, online courses and meditation, creating nourishing opportunities for people to pause and reconnect. 

Joey’s first book ‘Your Spiritual Almanac – a year of living mindfully’ was published on 2 September 2021. Her second book ‘Mind & Bowl – a guide to mindful eating and cooking’ followed shortly after.
