The Contract A contract shall be deemed to have been made between The Rock Oyster Festival and the booking client ("the Client") when the client has confirmed requirements by, inter alia, facsimile, letter, written order form or telephone and The Rock Oyster Festival have accepted such a booking by issuing a ticket.
Price The Rock Oyster Festival is not registered for VAT and all prices quoted do not include any VAT. All tickets are non refundable.
Payment -Tickets Only
The full price of the booking must be paid immediately upon acceptance of the booking. Once a booking has been made tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the event is cancelled.
In the event of cancellation of the festival by Rock Oyster, their responsibility for refund is limited to the face value of the ticket only.
Alterations to advertised packages
All advertised packages are subject to availability
Every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised packages but any package may be altered or omitted or dates changed either before or after confirmation of the booking. Were such alterations, omissions or changes of date occur prior to the confirmation of the booking The Rock Oyster Festival accepts no contractual liability. Where such alterations, omissions or changes of dates occur after confirmation of the booking, The Rock Oyster Festival agrees to use reasonable endeavours (such reasonable endeavours to be strictly subject to the organisers/promoters of event and/or other third parties making alternative packages available and further subjects to The Rock Oyster Festival right to change the price applicable ) to provide a reasonable alternative package and the client agrees to accept such reasonable alternative package.
The Rock Oyster Festival have the right to change the price applicable to a booking ( upwards or downwards ) at any time prior to a booking being accepted. When such change alters the price from that advertised, the altered price from that advertised, must be paid.
Liability of Rock Oyster Festival
The client hereby acknowledges that The Rock Oyster Festival will not be liable for any misrepresentations, negligence, contractual or tortious loss of any kind whatsoever suffered by the client or any due to any act or omission by or on behalf of any third party.
In any event The Rock Oyster Festival shall not be liable for death or personal injury suffered by the client or its guests arising out of the booking. This limitation of liability shall also extend to any loss or damage sustained by property or belongings of the client or any of the client's guests or for any further costs, demands or expenses incurred or suffered by the client arising out of the booking.
The Rock Oyster Festival will not be liable for any cancellation of or alteration to the booking or any loss or damage to the client arising out of circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to any act of god, natural disaster or act of terrorism.
Law and Construction The contract of these terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and The Rock Oyster Festival and the client hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in all matters regarding the contracts and these Terms and Conditions.
General Festival Terms & Conditions
We ask for anyone 17 or under to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, so if you would like to buy a Teen ticket - it must be purchased at the same time as an adult ticket.
Children eleven years old and under will get their tickets for FREE but you must still order them at the same time as the accompanying adult tickets.
Anyone under the age of 18 will not be issued with an adult wristband.
Persons under the age of 18 will not be permitted entry to the event without an adult over 18.
A Maximum of 4 persons under the age of 18 may accompany each paying adult.
Friday and Saturday night camping is included in the Weekend ticket price.
There is no camping with day tickets
There is a small additional fee for live-in vehicles, caravans, campervans and trailer tents. These can be purchased during the sales process on-line.
The campervan area will be separate to the tent camping area.
Management reserve the right to refuse admission.
Postage and packing charges are also non-refundable.
Buying our tickets, with the sole intention of selling them on (touting) is not allowed.
You may give or sell your ticket to another person, provided you don’t charge more for it than you paid.
Dogs are allowed in during the day but will not be allowed in after 5pm on Friday or Saturday. No dogs in the camper-van or campsite areas please
No flares or fireworks.
No Chinese lanterns. Once they’ve landed they pose a significant risk to wildlife.
No campfires, barbecues or grills.
Please do not bring alcohol into the camping or festival site - there will be searches at the gate
Please do not bring glass on site
Please do not obstruct Fire Lanes and Emergency Access points
Do not use sound systems anywhere on site (in cars or hand held)
